I did think about it, but
1) Most of the confessions I’m getting are anonymous
2) I don’t want to accidentally make a confession “public” that should’ve remained anonymous, so to not accidentally totally embarrass someone, I’m keeping it anonymous.
But I suppose if anyone specifically indicates that they’d like to have their name attached to their confession, I wouldn’t mind tagging them. c:
I love being compassionate, but I would like a break from myself for myself; I’m withering away.
I feel like I have been here before, as if I’ve lived many times before this life. Pisces’ are the old souls of the zodiac right? I don’t think that statement is too far off the mark.
I hate having to explain why I am upset or what is on my mind. I find it extremely difficult to do so and I feel like the person I am with should already know why I am upset because I am able to pick up on why people are upset so easily.
I’m a hopeless romantic. But I’m also hopelessly scared when it comes to love manifesting in commitment issues and constant doubt. I wish I wasn’t as shallow and hypocritical.
As a Pisces, I sometimes dislike how we are so filled up with emotions. We become sad even if we don’t know why. If someone asks us why…we can’t even say why it is we’re upset. We’re just so in tuned to the universe we feel…just everything…
I’m scared of going out into the big world because people scare me instead of intrigue me; I’d much rather just stay happy inside my own fantasy world of light and happiness.
weird? I mean, I suppose so…
But isn’t everyone a little weird?
& We Pisces are certainly no exception. <3
If anything, when you two are in your old age, those weird traits will add a bit of spice to your life. Haha…
Okay, this is probably going to be a completely different answer than what you were looking for… but, bare with me, okay?
I think as Pisces, we approach things very differently than Sagittarius. We generally like to talk things out, and get very much satisfaction from having heart-to-heart conversations. I think, for the most part, Sagittarius differs here— especially a male Sagittarius. (Now, I normally don’t differ between the genders when I talk about astrology, but I’m also speaking here from a psychological perspective. What I’m specifically touching on does have an apparent difference between genders) I suspect most Sagittarius have a communication style that is different than most Pisces— from your situation, it almost sounds like he prefers to simply not address things, and almost… beat-around-the-bush. Or at least, as of lately? Yes? Well, if that’s true— you two have different styles of communication. And I wonder if he therefore perceives you in a negative light, and that’s why he won’t open up to you. I don’t know if that makes any sense to you— and I’m sorry if that’s a huge curve ball coming from a girl with a Pisces blog.
But, think about it, will you? Do you think you two might have different styles in communication? A lot of times, when a person who has the talk-it-out style tries to engage with others, they get pegged as “condescending” when they’re only trying to help. It’s unfortunate, but it really closes off other individuals. It’s the first thing that came to mind, and I felt the urge to bring it up.
Going back to more of an astrological perspective:
Sagittarius are notorious for having flings. :c They convince themselves they like someone, become infatuated, and then it dies out. It almost sounds like he might’ve done this to you; and you, as a Pisces, loving and accepting, of course opened your arms to him and fell in love. :c Once the infatuation wares out, he might’ve very well… have gotten bored. It’s really unfortunate, and I hate to make it sound like Sags are bad people… but, I have seen this behavior a lot from Sags.
Unfortunately, I think you might just need to give him his space. If you press him, he might just verbally attack you… you know? :c And that would only make things worse.
pretty please? <3
you could smack their ass, or something.
i’m sorry, this wasn’t a pisces confession, was it? o___o bah i can’t tell if it is or not so i’m replying to it— try flirting? just don’t be TOO forward… unless they’re really dense, or something. ;; because i think being TOO forward with a scorpio will just turn them off. ;;
/if this is a confession just message me and i’ll put it with the other confessions i’ve gotten so far
LOL ME TOO, ANON. ME TOO. :C
Go ahead and send me your Pisces Confessions via ask. <3
I’m going to keep them completely anonymous when I post them.
I did, however, want to address one thing:
— Let me make sure I’m understanding correctly; would confessions by other star signs be like this then:
“My girlfriend is a Pisces, and when I read about our compatibility it sometimes doesn’t say the best things. But I really don’t care, because I think she’s the perfect match for me." /shot for being corny"I have a lot of Pisces friends, and all of them are practically door mats. I wish I could, like, give them a back bone or something."
Like that? I mean, so long as it’s not offensive, I don’t see why not?
I think Scorpios are often guilty of pushing away people they love. I have a lot of thoughts as to why… I believe a lot of Scorpios have a poor self-image of themselves, despite their prideful appearance. In a relationship, I think Scorpios often think they’re somehow “saving” the other individual by pushing them away before they realize who the Scorpio “really is.” Does that make sense? Of course, the Scorpio could also just be insecure, and push them away out of reasons of insecurity! Ultimately, I think it usually has to do with the Scorpio thinking of themselves negatively, deep down… And they don’t want anyone else to see it. Especially someone they care about.
Of course, there are other explanations. Maybe the Scorpio simply wasn’t ready to commit, and was actually more interested in a short-fling, as opposed to something more serious. Maybe your Pisces friend put pressure on the Scorpio by saying she wanted to be steady, and the Scorpio got cold feet. I mean, there are a lot of reasons people say one thing, and do another— especially in relationships. I hope that gave you some food for thought, though.
c: Sure, why not?
I think some Scorpios would prefer a bubbly Pisces, other might prefer a more sophisticated Pisces, the list goes on. :u It just depends on the Scorpio, I think.
Initially, my first worry is that the Virgo would find the Pisces to be a little too immature? Not to accuse Pisces of being an immature sign, but I think compared to Virgo, our ways of being big on dreaming, we might come off as naive and childish when you consider a large age gap. But you say only “several years older,” so I don’t know really how much of an impact it’ll be.
Honestly? Virgo/Pisces tends to be such a turbulent relationship, I doubt the age gap will do much. I mean, I’d think that if the two of you can overcome the odds Virgo/Pisces naturally has to face, that an age gap is going to be such a minute detail, it’s not going to matter.
You guys could submit Pisces-related confessions, or confessions you think Pisces would relate to, and I could publish them on the blog. c: I dunno, just something new I could add to the blog!
If you’re a little unclear what I mean by this, here’s a few examples:
“I’m definitely the most sensitive out of my group of friends.”
“A lot of books I’ve read talk about Pisces having psychic abilities, and I have to admit I think this is very true for me.”
“As a Pisces, we’re supposed to be compatible with Scorpio and Cancer… but I can’t help but find Gemini really alluring!”
You know, stuff like that. What do you guys think? I’d need your submissions!
Honestly? I have no idea the real correlation between astrology and mental illness. My instinct says yes. Actually, I initially wanted to just reply to this by saying “HAHAHAHAHA, YES.” But, well, I thought I ought to make it clear that I’ve never read into it. I mean, Pisces are quite emotional, and I’ve read a lot that says they’re prone to depression which is a mental illness.
And then, of course, there’s my own personal experience to consider? Which also leans to say Pisces would be prone to mental illness.
Here’s an article I found: click!
From that link, I want to emphasize two things:
All right? But as that article I think makes clear, Taurus really do tend to notice people who are physically attractive to them. ;; It’s true for all the Taurus I know, too. The first thing they notice is appearances. So it’s important to be hygienic, and dress nicely. Personality will keep them, but it’s difficult to attract a Taurus if they aren’t attracted to you physically.
Thanks! <3
Well, as far as being extremely negative goes, I think it’s quite easy for a Pisces to become easily distraught and quite pessimistic. I mean, look at our nature; we’re dreamers. Most people dream to escape reality, and most Pisces tend to, therefore, dislike reality. Reasoning differs from one Pisces to the next, but an overall dislike of reality can certainly lead to one become extremely negative, I think. Now, thinking about this from a psychological perspective? If you sincerely have a hatred of reality, or society, I think it’d be natural for you to be angry and lash out. Having that inner negativity I think has a lot of potential to lead to anger and being easily annoyed. However, if you’re wondering about an astrological explanation? Pisces are indeed moody. Perhaps though your moon sign would shed some light? Though I honestly don’t think being extremely negative, angry, or easily annoyed is all too abnormal for a Pisces.
Oooohhh anonn, if I knew reeaaaally how to do this I’d be so set for life.
Well, the zodiacsociety tumblr says this & this. However, if there’s a Scorpio you already have in mind… stereotypically speaking? Scorpios like a challenge— don’t be too obvious about your feelings. Have a bit of mystery! It will really stimulate them. c: Also, if you happen to follow me… and you’ve noticed how I make comments every now and then about how much I love scorpios? Yeah, don’t do that. Most Scorpios consider persistent flattery to be a turn-off. It’s okay to stroke their ego a bit, but don’t make it OBVIOUS. Water signs, by trade, love mystery. So play up your mysterious side. <3
Sorry this took a while to reply to. c:
Simply? I see a good deal of compatibility here, personally. I mean, yes, stereotypically the “Pisces/Gemini” pairing is a no-no… but then you have compatible Venus signs, and the rest of your chart sort of balances each other out. You know? There’s obviously an influence of both Air and Water in both charts, and I think that sets you up to have a potentially good relationship. My chart is similar to yours, the exception being that my ascendant is a different water sign— and I’ve been told by others really into astrology that they believe Gemini to be a good sign for that type of chart. The Scorpio moon only adds to the potential compatibility here, too.
I do think you and this individual have a great chance at having a good relationship. c:
Sorry I haven’t updated much, c: I’d tell you I’ve been busy— but that’s a lie. I’ve just been sleeping. A lot. Every day. … All day.
I think Psychiatry is a very practical choice for a Pisces. The field of psychology is very broad, and it potentially offers the Pisces a wide variety of potential jobs. (Myself for instance, I plan to do a lot in psychology, from working with autistic children, to mental health rehabilitation, to working as a shrink, to even teaching part-time at a college). It allows a Pisces to be self-employed, which many Pisces prefer.
The only real worries a Pisces ought to consider going into Psychiatry, would be (I think), over-involving themselves with their patients. You know, like, getting too emotional? It might be difficult for Pisces to remain professional. On a similar level, if the Pisces has personal issues of their own, it might be difficult for the Pisces to “leave their emotional struggles at home,” and devote themselves to their patients. So it’s really, I think, about emotions when it comes to Psychiatry. And, that’s really only if the Pisces chooses to become involved in that area of psychiatry… There’s so many different fields, and many of which don’t even involve the doctor-patient dynamics.
But Pisces as a Psychiatrist I think would be quite fulfilling.
You know what? I honestly think Cosmetology is a Piscean career. Not only do you get to create, but you get to make people look good— and through that, you’ll put a smile on their face! Which is helping them! Not to mention, being a hairstylist is almost like being a bartender. I mean— as you said, you hear a lot of stories, and help people with their problems. It’s funny, I was actually talking about this with my hairstylist recently! Because I want to be a psychologist, and he was telling me how he feels a lot like a psychologist in the way how he feels like he’s constantly helping people.
Personally, I think it’s never listed as a suitable career because of stereotypes that might be associated with both Cosmetology and Pisces? I mean, I’ve heard a lot of people associate cosmetology as a “materialistic profession” and “superficial” which is basically the opposite of Pisces (not to mention, in my opinion, really untrue! I mean, how can a profession be materialistic?). I don’t think a lot of people know what it’s like to be a cosmetologist… unless you’re a cosmetologist! You know? And on that note, people think of Pisces as being “helpful, wanting to please, needing to be creative,” and if people don’t know what it’s like to be a cosmetologist… they’re not going to realize that those personality traits would be satisfied in that career.
But, don’t worry about it. I think you already realize it’s a suitable Pisces career, but just to solidify it: not only is it a job where you get to create, but it’s often creative! And not only that, but you help people both vicariously (by making them look good), and by listening to them/hearing their stories. What’s not Pisces about that?
“This is, of course, just for fun, I wouldn’t base my decisions on it.” Good! I’m always worried people will take my advice too seriously… I mean, yeah, please consider what I’m saying, sure! But, I don’t know the individuals you’re potentially talking about, and there’s always a chance for something amazing despite what astrology has to say about it. (& Thank you for loving my blog! <3)
Anyways! Admittedly, this is a bit tough for me to judge (it’d be nice to know your Venus). But, speaking… in general with Libras and Leos? I really am hesitant with your Capricorn Moon. See, if it was just your Pisces Sun & Leo Ascendant, I’d say you probably stand an okay-chance with either or! Both are masculine signs, which as a rule of thumb, feminine signs (Pisces) and masculine signs (Leo/Libra) don’t tend to mix well… but your Ascendant might help you out there. However, your Capricorn Moon might clash heavily with a Leo. And, just considering Sun Sings? You’d probably do better with a Leo than a Libra (because Libra, an Air Sign, tends to do horribly with a Water Sign). So can you see why this is a little tough to judge?
If your Venus is in a sign like Aries (or another Fire Sign), you’ll probably do fine with either Libra or Leo. But, just keep in mind, generally speaking as you said— “the general compatibilities don’t look good.” Unfortunately, it would come down to the chart of the individual Libra or Leo to determine compatibility.
Yeah? I generally get along okay with most Aquarius, luckily. c: I think because Pisces & Aquarius tend to both be pretty spiritual? But I don’t know quite what it is about Sagittarius in my life, personally, but I just tend to get into a lot of arguments with them. Well, if you can call them arguments… It’s more like, me submitting to their yelling at me! Haha.
