Are you still in maintence mode?

Yes? Kind of?

I’ve redone the majority of my old posts, but
I haven’t deleted the original posts, which I still plan to do.
I also plan to change a bit on the actual blog page.

So, I’m still making changes, cleaning up old things, trying to answer the mass of messages in my inbox, etc.

What are some good date ideas for a pisces?

Something intimate, that really emphasizes romance.

I would imagine that includes something where the Pisces and their partner can be relatively “alone.” Also, something creative— or out of the box. Especially if the partner trying to impress the Pisces.

Okay, disclaimer: I’ve never dated, so my concept of it might very well be incredibly naive. But, as a Pisces? Something I think would really get my attention that combines intimacy and creativity would be to go on the roof with a blanket with maybe some pastries or something and just stargaze and talk. It’s simple, not something people normally do, and intimate.

Loud places typically aren’t going to be very ideal— so, theme park dates are normally not a Pisces cup of tea. Just think “small, intimate” and if possible “creative.” Art museums, dinner, movies (at home, theatre, or drive-in), evening stroll at the beach— Honestly, if you just think “What’s cliche, cheesy, and stuff you really only see in movies?” A Pisces would probably eat it up.

as pisces is it normal to be like really particular about somethings

I don’t think I understand what you’re asking.

Really particular about some things? Like, obsessive-compulsive? Or… ?

Sorry, anon. :c You’re going to have to give me an example, or something.

hey I'm pisces female and I really like this sagatarious male, we dated before, and now its two years later, and I'm trying to become friends with him again but hes very difficult. how do i go about trying to be his friend and maybe even more than that?

Very difficult? As in stubborn? As in, he’s reluctant to be friends with you again? How did the relationship end in the past? Did you dump him? Because if you were the one to end the relationship— he could simply be worried about entering a new relationship with someone who hurt him in the past. If he ended it, and he’s simply being reluctant to give you a second chance… well, honestly, I don’t think this is so much of an astrology issue. In a situation like this, I think all you can do is give it time and keep at it with a slow pace. However, do recognize that he’s not obligated to let you back into his life. :c That’s obviously not what you want to hear, I know… But if he’s not willing to make the effort, there’s really not a whole lot you can do. You can’t force someone into a friendship— that’s why I say it has nothing to do with astrology. I don’t think astrology can really help you, here.

I'm a pisces guy and this wonderful virgo gal and I are in love. How can i be sure not to mess things up?

Try to ground yourself a little more? Virgos sometimes get irritated with Pisces when our heads are up in the clouds too much— they’re very practical signs, who enjoy practical partners! By practicing to be a more “earthly” individual, hopefully you can retain your imagination, but not wind up coming across as detached to the Virgo. Additionally, it may be important to assert your feelings every now and again. Pisces have a tendency to be altruistic in relationships, and Virgos tend to dislike this. Virgos usually enjoy a “give and take,” and if the Pisces is just “give” and no “take,” it could be a little sour.

Do we get along with sags as family or friends?

I’m inclined to believe many Pisces and Sagittarius can get along well as friends. Sagittarius enjoy adventure and creativity, and I feel that Pisces can surely add to the creativity. Sagittarius is usually more outgoing than Pisces, so that might cause some problems— but the two are typically rather insightful signs, so I think it could be a good friendship.

I’m sure the dynamics would change in an immediate family setting, because this would imply you’re spending a lot of time together. And as Sagittarius & Pisces are masculine and feminine signs (respectively, Sag = masculine, Pisces = feminine), this is bound to create some strife.

But, overall/in general? Yes.

Maybe it's not an Pisces thing, but people don't seem to approach me. I try to present myself as friendly but no one wants to talk to me. Do Pisces have some kind of unapproachable demeanor? Are birthdates put into consideration if we do have unapproachable demeanor?

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Pisces II are probably going to struggle more with social interactions than Pisces I & III. You can read about the Pisces Decans here. So, I suppose you could include birth dates (March 2/3 - 10 are Pisces II)?

In general, I think this really depends on the Pisces. You see, what you’re talking about— at least, what I think you’re talking about— is the first “step” in a social situation, right? Like, initiating conversation? Or, how you react and respond in “social life?” That’s typically something astrology says is guided by the ascendant sign. The ascendant sign typically plays a role in how others perceive you, so even though it may be commonly a Pisces thing (I know I relate to this), it might be more accurate to relate it to your ascendant?

I'm a Pisces woman and I have the biggest crush on a Virgo guy. Is it worth approaching him or will he blow me off?

Only one way to find out~

I am an Aquarius female and am currently interested in a Aqua-Pisces cusp male... Can you please explain what is it with the "disappearing act?" I don't understand it as to me that's very Pisces and our chemistry was of course nothing short of stellar... Do Pisces males generally coming swimming back? And if they do I'm such an Aquarian that I would be so cold to him but I guess he'll also understand because he's a cusper.

The “disappearing act” could be explained by one of two things, really. As a Pisces, if we sense someone coming on too strong, we tend to flee. And, well, from the things I’ve read— no, we just tend to flee and be really hesitant about coming back. (It’s like the metaphor people use with doves? If you hold it too loosely, they fly away; too tightly, you kill it.) Now, if you’re already in a relationship, Pisces do tend to swim back— once we’re in love, it tends to be difficult to shake us off.

However, Aquarians also have their own type of “disappearing act.” If an Aquarius feels their space is being invaded, or their independence is at risk, they also tend to flee.

Aqua-Pisces cusps, in my opinion, have all the makings for a rather avoidant individual. It might be difficult to get this guy to come back around.

My Scorpio friend drifted away from him and I were really close and one day it just stopped. And ive tried to talk to him but hell reply to my texts hours later if im lucky or not at all. What should I do? Im a Pisces(obviously) girl.

One day it just stopped? Like, it literally happened over night? :c

If it was truly that abrupt, he must have some strong reasoning for doing that. I know if I were in your situation, I’d just confront him directly. I know that would anger the stereotypical Scorpio, but that might also be the only way to get any direct answers. Scorpios tend to enjoy being mysterious, which can be a real pain when they’re trying to keep you in the dark. (Which is what it seems like he’s doing).

I’d really just confront him directly. Texts, and other internet communication, allow him to avoid you and procrastinate on giving you answers. Be sure he’ll be resistant, if not totally defensive.

What do you think of a friendship between a male Aquarius and female Pisces? Thanks :).

I think Aquarius and Pisces make good friends, personally. Aquarius tends to be very quirky and individualistic, and I believe Pisces would admire those qualities. Likewise, I think the creative nature of Pisces would spark Aquarius’ interest. If anything, Aquarius might be a little oblivious of Pisces feelings at times, and Pisces has to remember Aquarius needs their space— but I do think these two signs generally can be good friends.

I've landed myself in an interesting situation – I'm an Aries gal with my Venus in Pisces. I've fallen in love with a dreamy Pisces guy with his Venus in Aries! What are your thoughts?

I think this could be potentially quite nice. c:

October 2012

I’ve enabled photo submissions, on the chance anyone feels like submitting visual pieces to the blog. c: For instance, if you have a tattoo you’d like to share (in an appropriate place! I’m not going to share a tattoo on your rump!), or if you’ve drawn a pisces-related piece and you want to share, etc, you now can! For the visual pieces, I will definitely credit you— unless you specifically tell me you wish your piece to be anonymous.

Soo... Ok. I'm a Pisces myself, and I've always heard that Taureans and Pisceans are very compatible. Well, I think that's awesome, considering my boyfriend is a Taurus :D! But... What makes Pisceans and Taureans so compatible? ((By the way: Love your blog! <3))

( Thanks! <3 )

Well, both Pisces and Taurus are very passionate signs. They’re both feminine signs, meaning they’re both receptive, emotional, and sensitive. [Water & Earth are feminine signs; Air & Fire are masculine signs.] Generally speaking, a Taurus helps ground a Pisces without making them feel as though their dreams are unrealistic, and a Pisces offers the intimacy and sensuality a Taurus craves. They two are usually quite harmonious.

For academics, do the signs reflect our grades? Or maybe grades reflect our signs the accurate way of saying it? If so, what subjects would Pisces be good/bad at?

At first it sounds like you’re talking about the grades, as in A, B, C, etc. The last bit is quite clear you mean the actual subjects. Personally, I think any sign can excel at any subject.

Though, I suppose Pisces would probably favor subjects in which they can let their creativity unleash. So, arts. This can range from Academic Arts, such an English and Creative Writing, to Visual Arts, such as Theatre and Photography. And anything in between. However, I would even make an argument that History would be a fun subject for many Pisces, if only because it can easily be turned into historical fiction. I know much of my history classes I turned into little historical soap operas to help me remember what I needed to. Psychology might be another subject Pisces enjoy.

All in all, I think of Pisces as intrapersonal learners, in the sense we need to be self-motivated and we need to associate subjects/materials to things we care about. I think our thoughts/feelings play a large role in whether or not we’re successful in our pursuits, and this of course applies to school.

Pisces Female: Psychology

thezodiaczone:

The Pisces woman is often overly passive and codependent. She may suffer from certain fears and anxieties, including agoraphobia, and be susceptible to drug and alcohol abuse. She can live in a world of fantasy and be pathologically dishonest. She sometimes lacks ambition despite her love for luxury. As a partner or parent, she can be inappropriately overbearing and overprotective.
