Positive Traits:
• A good blend of emotional intelligence and grounded personality traits.
• You’re likely very compassionate and soothing— you don’t come off as emotionally unstable to others (as a Pisces with a moon in a water sign or a water rising might read), which gives you a very welcoming presence.
• You aren’t overly watery; you don’t need someone else to give you structure. You pretty much have that down by yourself.
• You’re very sensual, but don’t confuse this with the materialistic nature of many Taurus. I think this would show itself in an artistic way. More likely an art that you can see— like painting, or sculptures, as opposed to music or poetry. There’s an appreciation for it, or a hobby. I just think the artistic side of Pisces and the sensual, tangible nature of Taurus would form a more artist type in the way of painting or drawing, as opposed to music or writing.
Negative Traits:
• You’re probably overly cautious and hesitant. It’s not a bad thing all the time, you just like to be extra careful and like to know what you’re getting into.
• It’s really easy to make you worry, I think. Anxiety is probably a problem for you.
• From these three signs, it’s difficult to tell whether or not you’d be stubborn (Taurus) or really fickle (Pisces & Virgo). [I personally lean towards fickle?] Regardless, I think it’d be difficult for you to make a decision. You either weigh your options too much, or you’re too indecisive. Etc.
• I wonder if you live internally. Like, you’re hesitant to explore the “outside world.” You probably theorize and enjoy the “what if’s,” but I think these signs would suggest someone who doesn’t really journey outside themselves very much.
• They might even be over protective of their inner-most feelings (which is almost contradictory to the Pisces behavior). I think it’d also stem from a place of caution, and fear of being hurt.
Hey, just thought I’d post a little update here. I’m not ignoring your messages, or anything, okay? c: I’m sick right now, and I haven’t been doing much other than sleeping. I’ll reply when I’m coherent again. <3
Hey Pisces, what are some tips on becoming more social and making new friends?
“Are Pisces good at picking the right type of friends for them?”
Um, generally? Pisces tend to have rather iffy tastes in the people they keep around them. I mean, kind of? It’s like, we don’t discriminate so much as to who we keep around us— partly because most of us have a hard time saying no. So, we get a lot of different types of people who wind up being out friends. So, we get the good and the bad.
But also, Pisces tend to be drawn to people who need help. Pisces like to help, they tend to feel their best when they help. And, more often then not… this forms a relationship in which an individual is accustomed to the Pisces putting their needs first. I’m of the belief that you teach people how to treat you. So, if you unintentionally teach people that their needs are more important, the Pisces can often wind up being in friendships where their needs are overlooked. So, it’s not necessarily that Pisces are picking out bad people— but… like, since Pisces have such a hard time establishing boundaries and saying no, that they often get the short end of the stick. Even if the friend is genuinely a good person!
Does that make sense?
&& I’m going to use your first question and make a text post so people can reply and offer their input. <3
I haven’t read much into moons on a cusp, but I can infer the meaning. However, it sounds as though you’re a rather well balance individual— that is, assuming your cusps are truly … cusps. I mean, sometimes a cusp individual resonates more with one sign more than the other. So, it’s difficult to really say. But, approaching it as though you are more of a blend of the two? And then considering you have a water/air sun and a earth/fire moon? It sounds like a rather fortunate combination.
It seems like you’d be a type of individual with a good mix of dreams/ideals and the actual means to get it done. A lot of the times, signs like Pisces & Aquarius have a harder time following through on their goals because they are spiritual signs. However, Aries/Taurus are both physical signs. Therefore, you probably have an easier time following through with your goals than other Pisces/Aquarius. You’re probably not an “All Talk and No Show” kind of person— even though you might get accused of it. Like, you probably have high goals and expectations, and people might think you’re not serious, or you won’t ever really get up and fulfill your actions— but I’d be willing to think your moon sign proves those people wrong. You’re not just “All Talk” and you’re more than willing to put things into action.
I think you might lean towards the impulsive side, but you do definitely think about your actions before you do them. —Like, perhaps you don’t think about them enough. Or finish the thought. Or take the thoughts far enough. Like, it becomes an itch you need to scratch, so despite taking the time to think about your actions— you act a little too soon. That, to me, is still a little impulsive. Others might not consider it impulsive, but I’m not too sure what else to call it. I think that would be a trait of an Aries Moon, and a lot of Aquarius I know like to jump into things. However, Taurus are cautious people. So, it’s like an odd, contradicting mix. But I think it generally works out for you. You don’t appear too hesitant, or too cautious. It’s just the right amount of planning— but perhaps it leans towards impulsive. (as opposed to leaning towards hesitance) (Like, think of it on a spectrum?)
I think you probably relate to people well, and sympathize with them well. (Though, you might not feel like they relate to you, which might sometimes cause distance)
It is difficult for me to tell. I’m kind of being really general here, because if you identify more with one sign than the other… I’m going to be completely off. :c
Haha, I’ve heard that a lot actually. A lot of my Pisces friends prefer Earth signs, and absolutely love Capricorns. Personally, I’d be worried that they wouldn’t be as physically affectionate (both verbally and with displays of affection) as I’d like them to be.
I read somewhere a while back that Pisces generally have better marriage rates with Earth Signs as opposed to Water Signs, because Earth Signs offer the structure and stability Pisces need to stay grounded. (no pun intended) It makes sense, c: and I think Earth Signs can be a very practical, lovely match for Pisces.
Haha, this is so bizarre for me. I’m not used to people coming to me, asking about their bad traits. You see, this goes against the core reasoning as to why I even started this blog. o___o Because as Pisces, I think there’s a general lack of appreciation for the self, so I felt it important to encourage Pisces to love themselves, and celebrate their Piscean nature.
So, to be asked about the bad traits takes me back a little. I mean, funny enough, whenever I take something like a personality test— be it MBTI or Enneagram, or something— I make sure to thoroughly digest the bad traits so I can work on improving them. So, I don’t necessarily think it’s weird to be asking about bad traits. I’m just a little surprised?
ANYWAYS. I think your combination would make you a little prone to be a blunt personality. Pisces, generally, tend to sugar coat things. They think “practicality, and being sensitive to the emotions of others," ought-weighs being honest and truthful. You, however, I think perhaps value being honest and truthful over the other individual’s sensitivity. This isn’t to say you’re insensitive, or something. In fact, I generally think this does come from a good place— it just ends up with a negative response from others. Why? Frankly, a lot of people are put off by bluntness.
Your combination would suggest you’re opinionated, and passionately so. I don’t necessarily think you’re impulsive, but rather you are quite logical with your opinions. You have a lot of practicality behind your opinions, and though you aren’t necessarily opposed to listening to others try and use their logic to give other sides of a debate… it will probably take a lot to change your mind once you’ve made it up. People probably view you as stubborn because of this, but you’re simply very passionate and have a lot of reasoning to this passion. In fact, in daily life with trivial things— you might be on the indecisive side. You see, Pisces & Gemini are mutable, they’re indecisive. Which I think would show itself in silly ways, like, "What ice cream do I get? There are sooo many choices!” But Scorpio is a Fixed sign, and it’s your moon. I’m inclined to think on things that are important to you, like the “big decisions,” you become very stubborn (once you’ve settled on something). Anything you’re passionate about, I imagine you have very strong opinions on that you’re relatively unchanging about. That is why you’d be called stubborn.
I think you’d be very emotional (which isn’t a bad thing), but I wonder if you occasionally lose touch with the ability to communicate and translate your emotions to others. Like, you know you feel something— say sadness— but maybe you can’t completely tell why you’re upset.
I do worry you might occasionally come off as condescending to others. Scorpios tend to be rather full of themselves, as do Geminis. I think it might be a subconscious thing, and primarily seen in your body language, tone, word-usage, etc. I also imagine you’re a rather defensive person, and might have a hard time seeing when you’re wrong, or perhaps just admitting when you’re wrong.
AH. See, this to me is much more clear. Before, I couldn’t tell if you meant you were usually very absent minded, or… well, you read it. ;; Haha.
Oh, but, I think this is very Pisces-like! I mean, yes, we’re typically very imaginative, thoughtful, and creative. But, that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be day-dreaming constantly. Pisces are quite susceptible to bouts of depression and low self-esteem. I mean, there’s not just positive traits to Pisces, there’s negative traits, too… and what you described there is certainly some of the negative traits a lot of Pisces deal with.
However, if this is truly something you think about all the time, I do suggest looking into therapy.
Pisces Confession:
I’m very devoted to being compassionate and of service, so when I have to turn someone down from something they really want but is harmful to me, it not only fills me with guilt–it wrenches my soul.
This is a difficult question for me.
So, I’m going to revise it! Hahaha. My closest friends: a Virgo, an Aquarius, a Taurus, & a Pisces.
Do I think it means anything? It could mean a lot, and it could mean a lot of nothing. c: What could probably tell you more, or perhaps offer more insight, is that I don’t really have any friends who are fire signs.
