Or what your ascendant is? I know I am a Pisces, March 6, but I don't know the details. Can you help me figure it out?"

c: I can most certainly help you!

Well, the “Sun Sign” for you is Pisces. Um, it refers to where the sun is located at your birth— so, for you it’s Pisces. The “Sun Sign” is was most people know, because all you need to know is the day you were born. When most people say, “Oh, I’m a Gemini” they’re talking about their Sun Sign.

However, if you want to know other things— like the position of the moon, or mercury, or jupiter, etc, you’re going to have to know the time you were born. Same goes for the Ascendant Sign. Now, the ascendant refers to “what’s on the rising,” which is why it’s also referred to as the Rising Sign. Different planets represent different things— like Venus, representing love and whatnot. The Ascendant is, basically, the “mask you wear.” So, if I were to go around and guess a person’s sign— I’d probably guess their Ascendant, because that’s what other’s readily see.

Now, assuming you know the time you were born, you can use this calculator. Once you’ve entered the information, you can scroll down just a bit and see a chart. The chart will tell you what is what! c:
