Well, as far as being extremely negative goes, I think it’s quite easy for a Pisces to become easily distraught and quite pessimistic. I mean, look at our nature; we’re dreamers. Most people dream to escape reality, and most Pisces tend to, therefore, dislike reality. Reasoning differs from one Pisces to the next, but an overall dislike of reality can certainly lead to one become extremely negative, I think. Now, thinking about this from a psychological perspective? If you sincerely have a hatred of reality, or society, I think it’d be natural for you to be angry and lash out. Having that inner negativity I think has a lot of potential to lead to anger and being easily annoyed. However, if you’re wondering about an astrological explanation? Pisces are indeed moody. Perhaps though your moon sign would shed some light? Though I honestly don’t think being extremely negative, angry, or easily annoyed is all too abnormal for a Pisces.
Sorry this took a while to reply to. c:
Simply? I see a good deal of compatibility here, personally. I mean, yes, stereotypically the “Pisces/Gemini” pairing is a no-no… but then you have compatible Venus signs, and the rest of your chart sort of balances each other out. You know? There’s obviously an influence of both Air and Water in both charts, and I think that sets you up to have a potentially good relationship. My chart is similar to yours, the exception being that my ascendant is a different water sign— and I’ve been told by others really into astrology that they believe Gemini to be a good sign for that type of chart. The Scorpio moon only adds to the potential compatibility here, too.
I do think you and this individual have a great chance at having a good relationship. c:
I think Psychiatry is a very practical choice for a Pisces. The field of psychology is very broad, and it potentially offers the Pisces a wide variety of potential jobs. (Myself for instance, I plan to do a lot in psychology, from working with autistic children, to mental health rehabilitation, to working as a shrink, to even teaching part-time at a college). It allows a Pisces to be self-employed, which many Pisces prefer.
The only real worries a Pisces ought to consider going into Psychiatry, would be (I think), over-involving themselves with their patients. You know, like, getting too emotional? It might be difficult for Pisces to remain professional. On a similar level, if the Pisces has personal issues of their own, it might be difficult for the Pisces to “leave their emotional struggles at home,” and devote themselves to their patients. So it’s really, I think, about emotions when it comes to Psychiatry. And, that’s really only if the Pisces chooses to become involved in that area of psychiatry… There’s so many different fields, and many of which don’t even involve the doctor-patient dynamics.
But Pisces as a Psychiatrist I think would be quite fulfilling.
You know what? I honestly think Cosmetology is a Piscean career. Not only do you get to create, but you get to make people look good— and through that, you’ll put a smile on their face! Which is helping them! Not to mention, being a hairstylist is almost like being a bartender. I mean— as you said, you hear a lot of stories, and help people with their problems. It’s funny, I was actually talking about this with my hairstylist recently! Because I want to be a psychologist, and he was telling me how he feels a lot like a psychologist in the way how he feels like he’s constantly helping people.
Personally, I think it’s never listed as a suitable career because of stereotypes that might be associated with both Cosmetology and Pisces? I mean, I’ve heard a lot of people associate cosmetology as a “materialistic profession” and “superficial” which is basically the opposite of Pisces (not to mention, in my opinion, really untrue! I mean, how can a profession be materialistic?). I don’t think a lot of people know what it’s like to be a cosmetologist… unless you’re a cosmetologist! You know? And on that note, people think of Pisces as being “helpful, wanting to please, needing to be creative,” and if people don’t know what it’s like to be a cosmetologist… they’re not going to realize that those personality traits would be satisfied in that career.
But, don’t worry about it. I think you already realize it’s a suitable Pisces career, but just to solidify it: not only is it a job where you get to create, but it’s often creative! And not only that, but you help people both vicariously (by making them look good), and by listening to them/hearing their stories. What’s not Pisces about that?
“This is, of course, just for fun, I wouldn’t base my decisions on it.” Good! I’m always worried people will take my advice too seriously… I mean, yeah, please consider what I’m saying, sure! But, I don’t know the individuals you’re potentially talking about, and there’s always a chance for something amazing despite what astrology has to say about it. (& Thank you for loving my blog! <3)
Anyways! Admittedly, this is a bit tough for me to judge (it’d be nice to know your Venus). But, speaking… in general with Libras and Leos? I really am hesitant with your Capricorn Moon. See, if it was just your Pisces Sun & Leo Ascendant, I’d say you probably stand an okay-chance with either or! Both are masculine signs, which as a rule of thumb, feminine signs (Pisces) and masculine signs (Leo/Libra) don’t tend to mix well… but your Ascendant might help you out there. However, your Capricorn Moon might clash heavily with a Leo. And, just considering Sun Sings? You’d probably do better with a Leo than a Libra (because Libra, an Air Sign, tends to do horribly with a Water Sign). So can you see why this is a little tough to judge?
If your Venus is in a sign like Aries (or another Fire Sign), you’ll probably do fine with either Libra or Leo. But, just keep in mind, generally speaking as you said— “the general compatibilities don’t look good.” Unfortunately, it would come down to the chart of the individual Libra or Leo to determine compatibility.
Yeah? I generally get along okay with most Aquarius, luckily. c: I think because Pisces & Aquarius tend to both be pretty spiritual? But I don’t know quite what it is about Sagittarius in my life, personally, but I just tend to get into a lot of arguments with them. Well, if you can call them arguments… It’s more like, me submitting to their yelling at me! Haha.
Hmmm. Well, with you— like some of the others I’ve responded to— I honestly wonder how influential your moon sign is. I’m inclined to believe your Ascendant will be more noticeable, because it’s Scorpio (and that’s just my own personal interpretation!). So, considering that, you’re probably an incredibly emotional, passionate individual. You probably are guilty of “people watching"— which is fine. A lot of people do it. I think Scorpio Ascendants like to learn about the human psyche, and do so by watching people. Maybe it’s a subconscious thing, that you sometimes just notice the different way people word things… or, something to that affect? I think Pisces tend to do this, too— we pay attention more than we lead onto… but nearly to the extent Scorpios do. So, yeah, I think you’d be very intuitive in that regards. Perhaps you profile people quite easily, too. Now, I don’t really know how strong your Moon in Aries shows itself, but common characteristics of your moon sign include things like, "difficulty separating needs and wants,” and “difficulty with boredom.” I seem to say this a lot with Fire Sign Moons, but perhaps you’re a bit restless? You like to do. Or there’s just some kind of underlying need for action?
Well, when I first think about this… I actually start thinking about the stereotypical, eclectic… hippie type. OKAY NOW HOLD ON. Don’t start thinking I’m about to accuse you of, I dunno, taking your shoes off, growing your hair out, and protesting about whatever suits your fancy! That’s not what I’m getting at. The combination of Sun in Pisces, Moon Sag, and Venus Aries… I can’t help but think about that stereotype! And here’s why: Pisces are obviously the dreamers of the bunch, and paired with Moon in Sag— the restless, adventurer type— I think that’s just the right combination needed to start something. In addition, that combination, especially with the rising Taurus, just screams eclectic! You’re probably the type of person who is rather easy going, perhaps even quite fickle (maybe indecisive is a better word). However, I think you have your opinions on things, deep down? Like, on things that are important to you? Things you really value? And on those sorts of things, you’re probably a little stubborn on. Which is silly, because other than that— you’re likely go-with-the-flow! To others, that might seem like a bit of a contradiction.
Now, talking about your Venus and how that plays into things. See, stereotypically, a Venus in Aries is a go-getter. If they see something they want, they… go and get it. They’re upfront. However, speaking from experience— because my Venus is also in Aries— I know this isn’t always the case! If your Venus is squared by Neptune, you could end up acting more like a Pisces Venus. ;; So. :c It really… depends…
I’m guessing you want my impression on this sort of combination? Well, a Pisces with a moon in Capricorn I imagine would try and… almost micromanage their emotions. Capricorns, to me, try to take their emotions and put it in a little box somewhere. And, well, that doesn’t work with Pisces. Pisces are emotional! But with a moon in Capricorn, I almost wonder if when you get emotional, you try and suppress it, or just feel uncomfortable, etc. Regardless, I wonder if it’s a problem with security. Your moon sign likes to feel secure, and emotions (well, having them) can make an individual feel less-safe. Your rising sign would add a sort of boldness to your personality. When considering your moon, I can’t help but think that there’s some sort of definite, strong presence that you bring to a room. Whenever I see the combination of calm-headed Capricorn and passionate Aries leads me to believe there’s an intense aura about them.
I think if I tried to explain it, I’d only end up confusing you. ;; My understanding of it is still quite loose… so I don’t want to risk giving you incorrect information.;; This link here gives a brief intro?
