Well, yes and no.

I think it’s easy to understand the “basic gist” of a pisces. I think the majority of Pisces are quite… well, exposed? I mean, I think if you looked at a person who fit the stereotypical Pisces, many people would describe them with words that were more-or-less truthful about them! You know, words like: shy, sensitive, caring, etc. But that hardly sums up a person! However, I think a lot of people might just leave it at that, and think they understand the Pisces completely, when they just know the face-value. Does that make sense? Pisces are often compared to the ocean— the ocean is vast, deep, and most of it hasn’t been explored yet. Most people only see the face of the ocean; likewise, most people only see the surface of a Pisces! Because, yes, as you said— I think many of us are a little secretive or feel uncomfortable? Or perhaps don’t reveal everything? Like the ocean, Pisces have many layers. And many Pisces, I think, don’t often reveal all the different layers to the way they think, or feel, etc. Therefore, because many people don’t get through all those layers, we might feel as though we’re hard to “get to know."

So, I think it’s easy to understand a Pisces’ nature at face value— but that alone doesn’t mean much, especially since I believe Pisces have a lot underneath that face value.
